Community Guidelines

CooMeet works because the people on it treat each other like people. These guidelines set out what we expect from everyone, and what happens when someone crosses a line.

1The basics

Every CooMeet chat is a one-on-one conversation between two real people. Treat the person on the other side the way you would want to be treated. These guidelines apply to everyone, everywhere on the platform, alongside our Terms of Service.

2Be a real person

Be yourself and be present. Do not impersonate someone else, misrepresent who you are, or use bots, recordings, or automated tools in place of a live conversation.

3Be respectful

Harassment, hate speech, threats, and abuse have no place on CooMeet. If someone asks you to stop or ends the chat, respect that. A conversation that is not working is a reason to skip, not to pressure someone.

4Keep it consensual

Everything on CooMeet should be consensual and comfortable for both people. Do not pressure anyone, and do not record, screenshot, or share another user without their clear consent.

5What is not allowed

The following are prohibited and may lead to immediate removal:

  • Anyone under 18, and any content involving minors.
  • Non-consensual, illegal, violent, or exploitative content.
  • Harassment, hate, threats, stalking, or doxxing.
  • Scams, fraud, spam, solicitation, or promoting other services.
  • Sharing another person without their consent, or capturing and redistributing a chat.

6Protecting minors

CooMeet is strictly for adults. Anyone found to be under 18, or attempting to involve a minor, is removed, and we cooperate with the appropriate authorities where required by law.

7Reporting and moderation

If someone breaks these rules, use skip to leave, then report them so our team can review it. Reports help us keep the platform safe. We use a mix of reporting and moderation to enforce these guidelines, and you can always reach us at [email protected].

8Consequences

Depending on the severity, breaking these guidelines can lead to warnings, restrictions, or a permanent ban. Serious violations result in immediate removal without warning.
